I teach Italian to students of all ages and levels, with a passion for the language, the country, or for professional purposes, also for GCSE, Italian Citizenship and Passport exams preparation. Foreign languages and get to know different cultures have always been my greatest passion. After graduating in "Social and Psycho-Pedagogical foundations", I studied "Modern Languages and Literatures" at the university in Italy, and then I fulfilled one of my dreams by moving to one of the most multicultural cities in the world, my beloved London. Here is how my love for teaching and interpreting started! Practice with a native speaker is essential to learn a foreign language... and I believe that learn having fun, in a relaxed and mistake-welcoming learning environment without too many formalities, is much easier than open a book and just read an explanation! Every lesson is tailored to the student: focusing on your chosen subjects and learning needs, I will create personalised thematic lessons and intercultural activities, including pronunciation, reading comprehension, conversation and grammar drills, to guide you in an immersive learning journey and helping to gain more and more confidence. **The first 30 minute session is always free.** As a pre-med student who has been tutoring others and has been receiving tutoring in various subjects since middle school, I know what it feels like to be the student and I know the most effective teaching methods, simplifying the information so that it is never daunting for students. I take my time with each student and would prefer that you fully understand a few topics, rather than incompletely understand every topic we originally set out to cover. I teach biology on all levels from elementary to university intro-bio course level. I can tutor specifically for topics you have difficulty with on case-by-case bases/or one-time sessions; or I can regularly tutor you each week for any biology course. Additionally, I can teach the full AP Biology course, provided there is enough time between our first session and the exam (I would recommend around a 12 months, as the AP Biology course is equivalent to a two-semester college introductory biology course for biology majors). For sessions of this nature, I will work with you to develop a comprehensive schedule (taking into account your school life and other commitments) that will allow us to cover everything and still leave time for AP practice tests. I have taken multiple AP exams in the past, earning AP scholar awards for my performance, thus I have extensive knowledge of what is needed to score a five.
