I received my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Northern Arizona University (Go Lumberjacks!). As part of my coursework, I took education classes and was a student teacher for a semester. I am currently working on my associate's degree in Mathematics as preparation for graduate school. My teaching method is to meet students where they are. I focus on student understanding rather than drilling them on practice problems.
