Ph.D. in Physics | Grade 11–12 AP/IB Physics & Advanced Functions/Calculus Specialist (30+ Yrs Exp)
With a Ph.D. in Physics and over 30 years of teaching experience, I specialize in helping senior high school students master complex concepts, boost their grades, and secure university admissions. I understand exactly where Grade 11 and 12 students get stuck—and how to build the deep conceptual understanding and problem-solving confidence needed for high-stakes tests and final exams. Whether your goal is to turn a passing grade into an 80%+ or push an 85% into the high 90s, I tailor every session to your exact curriculum bottlenecks. 📚 SUBJECTS TAUGHT (Ontario Curriculum, AP & IB) • GRADE 12 PHYSICS: SPH4U • GRADE 12 MATH: Advanced Functions (MHF4U) | Calculus & Vectors (MCV4U) • GRADE 11 PHYSICS: SPH3U • GRADE 11 MATH: Functions (MCR3U) • GRADES 9–10 MATH: Principles of Mathematics (MTH1W / MPM2D) Full support available for AP Physics, AP Calculus, and IB Diploma STEM courses. 💡 SESSION STRUCTURE & WHAT STUDENTS GAIN • FOCUSED 90-MINUTE BLOCKS: Senior math and physics require uninterrupted problem-solving. All sessions are structured as 90-minute blocks ($75 total at my $50/hr rate) to ensure deep mastery without rushing. • EXAM-READY FRAMEWORKS: Move beyond simple memorization. Learn step-by-step strategies to tackle multi-step problems accurately under test pressure. • TARGETED REVIEW: Bring your homework, lab reports, past tests, or review sheets—we target your specific weak spots immediately. • FLEXIBLE SUPPORT: Available for ongoing weekly guidance or targeted short-term exam crash courses. ⚡ CURRENT PROMO FOCUS To re-establish my active calendar and collect fresh reviews on this platform, I am currently offering my Ph.D.-level instruction at a promotional rate of $50/hr. Slots are limited and booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Send a message or book a session to discuss your student's goals!

I'm a dedicated and experienced (about 6+ years) Physics and Mathematics tutor and can teach students of all ages in English and Tamil. I ensure friendly and interactive instructions encouraging students to learn passionately by sharing my knowledge and expertise. Mainly I focus on students' capabilities to derive the best learning outcome. "Everything happens for a reason, and that reason is usually Physics." and "Physics without mathematics is meaningless- Edward Teller". That's why Physics and Mathematics are more important subjects than others. My guidance will provide a clear understanding of the theories with real examples and improve students' problem-solving capabilities. Homework will be given to the students, and it's expected that they should complete and upload them before the next class so that the answers and methodology can be reviewed. Periodic tests also can be arranged. Book a trial with me to discuss your goals, courses and study plans on Physics and Mathematics.

I'm a full-time, self-employed educator specializing in online teaching. I am a former professor of Engineering. I earned degrees in Engineering including honors from a university with its acceptance rate of 1.47%. I ensure students in a public school and the IB curriculum get the marks they are aiming for. I usually follow the school teacher's lesson plan. I prepare the student to do well on every quiz, test, assignment, and the exam. With guidance students do satisfactorily well. I tutor college & university students, mainly Calculus, and Engineering courses. For over 9 years I am a trusted support for: - Calculus & Vectors - Advanced Functions - Functions 11 - Functions and Applications - Precalculus 11, and 12 - Physics 11, and 12 I help grades 10 to 6 with the following courses: - Mathematics - Science I am familiar with: - the Ontario curriculum, and of British Columbia - IB Diploma program I train students to excel in AP, and SAT exams as well. AP includes: - AP Calculus AB, BC - AP Precalculus - AP Physics 1, 2, C Because I offer all lessons one-on-one, I capture the insights that illuminate from the unique psychology of a student. This helps me plan, and use a style that adds value during the sessions. With me, the student gets fully trained on the diversity of questions they're likely to be tested on. Gaining sufficient adequacy in answering problems develops a new ability each time, and builds upon the right confidence. I make fundamentals come alive - from scratch. Foundations gradually strengthen bit-by-bit over time. I ensure students remain flexible when applying it across a spectrum, especially word problems. Using this approach, I'm used to tracking the student's marks jump from 70s to the 80s, from 80s to the 90s. You can text, or phone me for my availability, and to schedule sessions. Text is the fastest way to reach me. The very best, Nihit
