Katrina's passion is helping students feel more confident and calm about school, and they take a personalized approach with each student. They have more than 20 years of experience as a tutor and have taught more than 1,000 hours of Orton-Gillingham lessons. Katrina is Orton-Gillingham trained at the Academy Associate Level and works under the mentorship of a fellow. They are a member of the Orton Gillingham Academy and the International Dyslexia Association. In addition to working with dyslexic students, Katrina is gifted with students who have dysgraphia, processing disorders, autism, executive function disorders, and ADHD. They received their teaching certificate from The University of Colorado at Denver and a master's degree from John F. Kennedy University. They have a Bachelor of English and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Katrina has their own tutoring business, Katrina Dreamer Tutoring, LLC.
