I'm currently pursuing my graduate degree in Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry from the University of Toronto. I completed my Bachelors of Technology in Chemical Engineering from VIT University, India. Throughout my undergrad, I have been a core and later on a board member of AIChE, during which I have participated in quite a few K-12 events that involved going to schools around my university and teaching STEM subjects to the students there. Though, I have a number of favorite subjects, Maths, English, Physics and History are among the ones I feel most confident about mainly because these have been favorites since school. I believe that when it comes to grasping difficult concepts notably in physics and mathematics, there are multiple ways to make it look elementary, then the learning process becomes much easier and faster. In my opinion, with the world advancing at a rapid rate, the importance of education is clearly very evident and so is the act of gaining and imparting knowledge as it allows us to comprehend and question all that is happening around us. I try to utilize my free time by watching anime, reading some fiction and listening to true crime podcasts.

I am a Fide rated player with 1650+ fide rating in all 3 format and have a peak rating in chess dot com of 2280+, and a puzzle rating of 3000. I played in many Fide tournaments and won many prizes. I represent my Egineering college for 3 consecutive. I love chess and start playing it in class 3. I am a self learner in chess. And from 3rd class onward, I was always the best chess player during my schooling. In Engineering (in Tamilnadu), the college team having a few good chess players (up to 2050 Fide rating) from Tamilnadu and Andra Pradesh. And I maintain positive records against them and part of the college team for 3 consecutive years. Also part of winning team (Silver & Bronze) in Tamilnadu Inter Engineering sports. I am a working professional but my love for the game motivate me to play on the weekend at fide rated and non rated tournaments and won many prizes. In online chess, I registered many wins over title players. It's almost 30 years since I learn to play chess and during games, analysis, study, and coaching others draw a path for rapid chess improvement.
