Since graduating from the University of Central Arkansas in 2014 with bachelor’s degrees in English and Spanish, I have devoted myself to improving the lives of others through education. Even before graduating, I gained experience as a Supplemental Instruction Leader at my university. Next, I completed a year of service as an AmeriCorps volunteer with Reading Partners. After my time with AmeriCorps, I worked for two years as a Bilingual Home-School Advisor with the Little Rock School District from 2015 to 2017. During this time, I also completed a 6-week language immersion program with the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. In addition, I taught English in Colombia, South America from July 2017 to December 2019. Since November 2020, I have tutored over 1,700 hours online in my areas of expertise. My experience as a student, tutor, and classroom instructor have all prepared me to work with people from different backgrounds and ages. I am firmly dedicated to meeting the individual needs of my students.
