I began teaching English as foreign/second language when I was an exchange student at the Spanish University of Valencia in the early 1990's. After finishing an MA in Photography and Mass Media Studies, I decided to live abroad and teach English in South Korea. During this time, I was also able to teach and live in Fukuoka and Okinawa Japan, as well as in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand. All of these living/learning/teaching experiences have impressed upon me the importance of maintaining a dynamic yet comfortable learning environment. I firmly believe that as long as students are feeling relaxed, comfortable, and enjoying themselves, there will be no limit to what they can learn.
