I will not ask you to sit quietly by yourself and consume information, things will be different from the typical predictable classroom. In my experience in the last 5 years of teaching I have adopted the following philosophy of teaching mathematics: • A biconditional mode of communicating whereby as the tutor I pass on knowledge and have immediate ways of checking feedback i.e. simply giving exercises and checking in class during lesson time. • A mysterious or paradoxical way of looking at things i.e. before a chapter give some problem related to what I am to cover. This gives a nice start of a lesson or chapter which stimulates the learners to have a positive outlook to the subject at hand. Book a trial lesson and see for yourself.
