I have a doctorate from the University of Durham in the UK in string theory. Since obtaining my PhD I have worked around the world as a postdoctoral researcher where I have tutored, mentored and taught students from all walks of life and at various levels of education. I have experience in various areas of physics and mathematics including but not limited to: condensed matter, relativity, quantum field theory, string theory, algebra, differential geometry and complex analysis. My teaching methodology focuses on the individual and finding the best way for them to grasp a subject. Physics and mathematics are important subjects to study as they provide us with several important skills that can enhance career prospects. What I intend for people to learn from me are: 1. the confidence to present and defend your results and importantly to be critiqued, 2. an intuitive understanding of the material with the ability to fill out that gut feeling into a logical argument with precise English, 3. a solid toolkit of techniques to tackle unusual problems, 4. and a lack of fear when faced with a novel situation, in particular, to free form and assess ideas for solving problems before tackling them. I promise that I will help you develop these skills with kindness and plenty of support (ok, and maybe a touch of humor).

Perspective on Education: I have devoted my entire professional career to working with students both in and out of the classroom. From tutoring my peers throughout my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics, to teaching college courses of all levels, to mentoring high school students, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages, from various backgrounds, and from around the globe. With over 15 years of experience, I have developed an approach to teaching that is centered around developing the core of a successful student. I work to build a solid fundamental base, but more importantly I seek to impart the ability, confidence, and passion to seek out knowledge for the sake of personal growth. Regardless of your background or what topic you are learning, I bring an approachable, adaptable style to my work that develops a rapport with students that ultimately brings out their best. Math Specific Background: Despite never really being “into” math at a young age, I always excelled in the subject. By high school I accepted my fate as the resident math help and aided the school with peer tutoring and even joined the traveling math team for competitions. At university, I was inducted into the honorary mathematics fraternity, Pi Mu Epsilon. During my final two years as an undergraduate, I traveled to multiple mathematics conferences and gave talks on topics including, but not limited to, the mathematics of toilet paper. My senior year I received the Wilbur and Burdella Stuckey Carl Mathematics Prize for outstanding achievement in mathematics. After receiving my BS in Mathematics, I was offered a scholarship at the University of Akron to continue my education and teach simultaneously. In 2010 I earned an MS in theoretical mathematics and I have been teaching at universities while tutoring individuals ever since.

About me: I hold a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from McMaster University, where my research focused on optical wireless communications. I have 7+ years of teaching experience as a TA at both McMaster and the University of Tehran, and I have tutored 130+ students across +1100 hours throughout Canada and the US. I know firsthand how difficult ECE and math courses can be — and I know exactly where students get stuck. My sessions focus on building real understanding, not just getting through the homework. I explain the "why" behind the math, work through your actual course material, and send you session notes afterward so nothing gets lost. Courses I Can Help With: ● Electrical Engineering: Signals & Systems, Electrical Circuits, Circuits & Systems, Electronics I, Communication Systems, Digital Communications, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) ● University Math: Calculus I-IV, Differential Equations, Probability & Statistics, Linear Algebra ● High School: Functions, Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors, Physics 11 & 12 ● Programming: MATLAB About the lessons: Every session is built around your course — your textbook, your professor's slides, your upcoming exam. I don't use generic problem sets; I work through what you're actually struggling with right now. Here's what a typical session looks like: we start by identifying exactly where you're stuck, I walk you through the concept from first principles until it clicks, then we practice with exam-style problems until you can do it on your own. I record sessions on request and send typed notes after each lesson. I'm available for one-time exam prep sessions as well as ongoing weekly tutoring. Most students see a noticeable improvement within 2–3 sessions. Reach out to confirm availability — I typically respond within an hour.

STELLA MARIS, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY
ABOUT MY EDUCATION: From the days of schooling i was very much interested in maths. I did my graduation in the most reputed college in chennai . ' STELLA MARIS' . I did my preuniversity course with MPC , (maths, physics, chemistry) and secured an overall percentage of 95.5. (200\200 in maths) That score was good enough to get an engineering seat in Anna University, but i opted for major maths in stella maris , due to my passion for maths. so i did my BSC ( MATHS) in the same college with PHYSICS and STATISTICS as my ancillaries. I came out with a distinction in my graduation. After a stint of few years i enrolled for MSC ( maths ) to enhance my knowledge. By that time i had started my carrier as a tutor teaching CBSE, ICSE, and AIEEE( IIT entrance) MY METHOD: I don't believe in working only from one book. Even though i am open to teach from the students book or material, i also give them work from different books i have. I first make the fundamentals strong, teach the concepts, and give them problem from different books. This method helps very much for the student to gain confidence and face the exam without the fear of an unseen problem. TOOLS: I have a PEN TABLET and DIGITAL PEN. I write on the whiteboard and share the screen with the student so that the student can view live, what i am writing. The student can also write on the whiteboard. Currently I am tutoring students in 8 countries across the globe. The syllabi I am handling are PRECALCULUS, AP CALCULUS ( both AB and BC ), CALCULUS 1, 2, 3 for UNDERGRAD STUDENTS DOING ENGINEERING( multivariable calculus, linear algebra, vector calculus differential equations), IB maths, FURTHER MATHS and SAT MATHS I am currently coaching students doing graduation in universities like TEXAS, CALIFORNIA, NEW YORK, FINLAND, CANADA and SINGAPORE.

I've been teaching math and physics for younger students for more than 2 years. as for now, i have taught more than 20 students, of which 18 were brilliant and scored full marks in mathematics. I'm currently a student in the third year studying electrical engineering and I've scored A+ in my last 2 years. in the last years I've helped my colleagues understand Electrical circuits and engineering mathematics and they were very satisfied with me as a tutor. I'd love to extend my works and help more students get into math, physics and electrical engineering. Let me know if you need any help, I'm always here,

Hello, My name is Jehanzeb and I'm from Pakistan. I have been a full-time college physics teacher since 2020. My overall teaching experience (online and in person) is more than 5 years. I have helped many students improve their grades and also to develop an interest in the subject. I have done my M.Phil in theoretical particle physics from one of the top universities in the country and now I'm pursuing my Ph.D from TU-Dresden, Germany. A lot of students think that physics and mathematics are tough subjects and, to some extent, they are right. But, I think it is the responsibility of a teacher to make the subject easy to follow and fun to learn and this is what I try to achieve as a teacher. To make the subject easy and fun for my students. I can teach GCSE, A-Levels, AP, IB physics, or Undergraduate level physics syllabus. I try to incorporate interactive simulations and graphs in all of my lectures so that students can imagine and visualize the concepts instead of just working with abstract equations. This is especially useful and fun for young students.
