Jackson L.
UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI
Outstanding Chemistry and Mathematics tutor
Hi! My name is Jackson, and I am a passionate and dedicated Chemistry and Mathematics tutor with a degree from the prestigious University of Nairobi. Over the past four years, I have honed my teaching expertise through online tutoring, I have had the privilege of helping numerous students achieve academic excellence in these challenging subjects. Throughout my tutoring career, I have fostered a student-centric approach, tailoring my teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles and preferences. I am patient, empathetic, and adept at identifying areas where students may need extra assistance, providing them with the guidance they need to excel. In the realm of chemistry, I cover a wide range of topics, from the fundamental principles of the subject to advanced concepts in organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. My students appreciate my ability to break down complex theories and equations into manageable components, demystifying the subject and instilling a deeper understanding. On the other hand, mathematics, often seen as intimidating, is an area where I strive to build students' confidence and problem-solving abilities. By breaking down abstract concepts into simpler components and guiding learners step-by-step, I have witnessed significant improvements in my students' mathematical skills and grades. One of my key strengths as a tutor is my ability to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I understand that grasping challenging concepts can be daunting, so I make it a point to be patient, approachable, and understanding. I encourage my students to ask questions, engage in discussions, and develop critical thinking skills. Guided by a genuine passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of my students, I am committed to empowering learners and fostering a love for these critical subjects in the hearts of those I teach.
