Also I have an international ELE certificate (Spanish Teacher for foreign students) and over 20 years teaching experience. Besides studying several languages with different methods and teaching them now with the best system of all for over 20 years, I have studied psychology, psychopedagogy, arts and philosophy and traveled, lived, studied and worked in England, Scotland, Spain, Brazil and Argentina. And all this experience is focused and shared on each of my classes according to the needs and concerns of my students: work, studies abroad, travel, work or study relocation, examinations, Memory / Neurological recovery or improvement -or just the pleasure of learning and getting to know new cultures. And since I was born in Argentina to Spanish parents, I have spent part of my childhood in Spain and lived most of my life in Buenos Aires, I manage both types of Spanish. My name is Daisy Morris I am a native English speaker with a British accent I am TEFL certified and a graduate of East 15 Acting School – attaining a bachelors degree in Physical Theatre. Having previous teaching experience abroad, a love for creating and working with other people and a desire to travel, I am finally TEFL certified and ready to share my knowledge, skills and unique teaching style with those who are willing and excited to learn. I am an honest, open-minded and caring girl and I strive to make people feel welcomed and at ease in my company. I have taught English in Spain to both elementary and secondary schools – creating my own lesson plans, teaching to groups with mixed ages and abilities, and I was fortunate enough to live within a family where I was teaching two 5 year olds English, and was able to see every day their progress. It is this that encourages me to teach more, to pass on an extremely useful tool for each student, and see a definite progress in their development. I am a confident, energetic teacher and use my skills in performance/theatre to influence my lessons in an engaging and fun way. I remember my classes in school – the ones I enjoyed the most, and not only had fun in, but retained the information and wanted to learn more. I want to create those classes for students. Learning is difficult, it needs patience, and it needs to be stimulating. I am good at adapting to my environment and working with limited resources.
