My senior year I received the Wilbur and Burdella Stuckey Carl Mathematics Prize for outstanding achievement in mathematics. After receiving my BS in Mathematics, I was offered a scholarship at the University of Akron to continue my education and teach simultaneously. In 2010 I earned an MS in theoretical mathematics and I have been teaching at universities while tutoring individuals ever since.

I try to incorporate interactive simulations and graphs in all of my lectures so that students can imagine and visualize the concepts instead of just working with abstract equations. This is especially useful and fun for young students.
