About Me I am a passionate mathematics tutor with a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied mathematics. My journey in tutoring began in 2021 while I was still in high school, when I started helping a student who was repeating their Ordinary Level exams. This initial experience quickly evolved into a rewarding journey of teaching and mentorship. Throughout my academic career, I have consistently excelled in mathematics, achieving an impressive 12 A grades during my O Levels, with several subjects self-taught, including pure mathematics, which encompasses calculus, geometry, and algebra. My dedication continued into A Levels, where I earned straight A grades in mathematics, physics, and computer science, all while teaching my peers to master complex mathematical concepts. In addition to my tutoring experience, I have volunteered at Chisungo High School, where I contributed to the academic success of students in my community. I believe that education is a powerful tool, and I'm excited to expand my tutoring to new platforms to reach more students. As a middle school teacher, I had taught Algebra, Geometry, and other areas of mathematics. I also taught GED Math and SAT Math classes at a public college. All but one of my GED Math students passed the GED Math after completing an 8-week session (2 days/wk) and several of my SAT students had improved their SAT Math scores by as much as 200 points after completing a 6-week session (1 day/wk). I have given students tips on how to prep for tests, use TI calculators, and write perfect essays. It has always been my goal to make sure that my students were able to use what they learned to help themselves thrive at the next level.
