My methodology concentrates on: • Crafting compelling a personal statement that showcases unique experiences, interests and insights • Providing bespoke admissions test preparation to hone specific skills and knowledge • Interview preparation through developing problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, while improving communication skills through mock interviews and detailed feedback I offer support for maths, physics, and engineering applicants and students applying to other subjects that require preparation for the TMUA, MAT, ESAT, PAT and STEP admissions tests. For students with more time to prepare (sometimes 18 months or more), I incorporate a more holistic approach that encourages exploration beyond the syllabus, including wider reading and degree subject exploration. This allows students to develop a genuine passion for their chosen field and ultimately demonstrate greater enthusiasm and competence in the admissions process. Additionally, I provide GCSE and A-level tutoring in maths and physics, as well as teaching maths to students from age 11 upwards. My goal is not only to help them succeed in their exams but also to inspire a lifelong love for learning. Through an approach that combines academic support, study skills development, and fostering intellectual curiosity, I help my students become passionate, inquisitive, and well-rounded individuals ready to thrive in their future academic pursuits and beyond.
