Hi there, I am currently a Ph.D candidate at the University of Otago whose main area of research is looking at proteins of the heart and their role in heart failure. I have also taught community college courses before and after my PhD. I tailor my teaching to the individual and engage with you by igniting curiosity and integrating understanding at a deep level by improving critical thinking skills, experiential understanding, practicing practical applications, and connecting practical understanding to abstract, theoretical concepts. I am a polymath and I have a variety of interests beyond economics and mathematics. I am a musician and I sing, play guitar, and play piano. I also play tennis and enjoy hiking. I also have a variety of other interests. I bring this polymathic holistic understanding into my teaching methods.
