Katrina's passion is helping students feel more confident and calm about school, and they take a personalized approach with each student. Katrina is Orton-Gillingham trained at the Academy Associate Level and works under the mentorship of a fellow. They are a member of the Orton Gillingham Academy and the International Dyslexia Association. In addition to working with dyslexic students, Katrina is gifted with students who have dysgraphia, processing disorders, autism, executive function disorders, and ADHD. Katrina works with K–12 students, as well as those in college, and they have experience teaching adults as well. Their sweet spot is working with middle school students. They received their teaching certificate from The University of Colorado at Denver and a master's degree from John F. Kennedy University.
