Honours BSc Tutor | Calculus, Math, Physics, Astronomy & Python
Hi! My name is Mayesha, and I am an Honours Bachelor of Science student at the University of Toronto, specializing in Astronomy & Physics, with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in high school and was admitted as a UofT Scholar based on academic achievement. I am also a recipient of a Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) fellowship, through which I gained extensive experience in scientific research, data analysis, and programming. I tutor high school and 1st/2nd year undergraduate students in Calculus (I–III), Linear Algebra, Math, Physics, Astronomy, Python, and introductory computer science. My approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding while also developing efficient problem-solving strategies for homework, quizzes, midterms, and exams. I explain concepts step-by-step and adapt to each student’s learning style. I also offer support with scientific research projects, programming, data analysis, and report writing for senior high school and early undergraduate students. Whether you’re looking for ongoing support or help preparing for an exam, I’d be happy to help. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
