I am very patient and give straight-forward and concise approaches to problems faced. Methods used to enhance and improve the student's academics include, homework, solving of PAST PAPERS and as well assignments. My approach involves testing the student's approach in solving a problem, finding strengths and weaknesses. From here we can know how to gradually push forward. I'm currently doing my PhD in medical imaging at University College London (UCL). Graduated with a first class honours MEng degree from Biomedical Engineering at UCL. Wide knowledge in maths, physics and biology but mostly teach Python and MATLAB. I love teaching intro to MALTAB in particular as many people find it difficult to get into in engineering if they have never done programming before. I also have some experience in teaching web development with Flask or with Javascript, React and Express. In comparison to a classroom, having a tutor is different in the sense that I am able to see what the pace of the class should be depending on how fast the student grasps certain concepts, and what parts is the student struggling the most at. My teaching style really depends on the understanding of the student, their age, and the subject we are learning. I always however, love to implement visual representations of concepts. The best thing about science is when you can make extremely complicated idea something easy to understand, because that is when creativity comes in. Sometimes, especially for younger kids when they still don`t have a very detailed image of science, this is the best moment to be creative and share the love for science.

I enjoy maths because it becomes a puzzle you can solve logically, with surprising and beautiful patterns emerging from nothing. My tutoring style is concentrated on the idea that understanding must be built on understanding. To that end I make sure I listen to the students and find where they are confident, and where they need help. If they are struggling with a concept, I find that going back to where they do grasp the ideas and working up from there can have great effect. I also believe that memorizing equations and formulae is much easier if you are shown how they arise, so I try to include that before moving on to problems. I have been tutoring for 10 years, and won the Imperial College Excellence in the Support of Teaching and Learning Award in 2019. I have also attended workshops in the teaching of mathematics, on how to teach mathematics, especially algebra, to school aged students in a successful way. I am also able to provide tuition to support students in their university applications for mathematics by preparing them with transferable skills for the entrance exam process.
