My experience helping students achieve proficiency in mathematics began 9 years ago at a Kumon center. Since graduating high school and moving through college, I have moved toward private meetings with regular students. The most important aspect of maintaining a successful relationship with a student is consistency in how I approach our lessons. To this end, I've successfully guided students through curricula ranging from elementary to early college level. I have encountered many different learning styles and personalities, and I find it rewarding to get to know my students on a personal level and ensure their success in the process. Prior to this, I got my Master's of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo in Applied Math, and a Bachelor of Mathematics studying Mathematical Physics. My research interests are at the intersection of astrophysics, particle physics, cosmology, and gravitational waves.
