An enthusiastic tutor that leads you to learn further in essay/paper writing with APA style, thesis consultation in psychology, advanced data analysis, study skills, etc.

Hi there! I'm Cheryl, and I have an undergraduate degree in psychology with thesis and sociology. I just finished my thesis-based Master of Arts program in psychology at the University of Alberta, with a research focus on mental health development in early childhood and peer relationships. THE FIRST LESSON IS FREE FOR THE NEW STUDENTS! I love working with adolescents and young adults, and I'm passionate about helping others learn psychology, advanced data analysis (e.g., different types of analyses on SPSS and Mplus), and how to construct a great essay/paper with APA style. I also offer thesis consultation in the field of social science, especially psychology, including how to develop a cohesive thesis and how to construct each chapter. In addition, I can help you improve your study skills, time management strategies, and coping skills with anxiety or stress. I can't wait to meet and interact with each of you since one of my biggest joys is to see my students develop and succeed :) Remember... THE FIRST LESSON IS FREE FOR THE NEW STUDENTS!

Reading and Writing are What I Love And Teach!

I am a passionate logophile, who loves nothing better than to discuss and teach grammar and literature with people. Learning parts of speech, sentence structure, and composition techniques doesn't have to be a stressful undertaking! I can remove the panic and frustration from your battle with words and turn your studies into an interesting, if not fascinating journey of discovering the power of writing. When I'm not scribbling down story ideas or reading countless books, I enjoy playing mandolin or hanging out with my Muscovy ducks. I enjoy teaching grammar, English, ESL, literature, as well as other related subjects for grades K-12. PLEASE NO ADULT OR COLLEGE STUDENTS. Please note! I will not accept requests for assignment help where a student asks me to write his or her entire essay, response to literature, or any other written work. I will write alongside or do revision/ final draft work on students' projects. However, to give a pupil a finished product that came 100% from my pen only is professionally and ethically wrong in my viewpoint. I am a teacher and peer reviewer, not a writer for hire or an accomplice to plagiarism. Thanks!

Need help with math, language, logic, science, or technology? I'm here for you!

Aloha, friend! My name is Lucas Jarrett, and I’m an online tutor! If I had to characterize my approach to helping people learn in simple terms, I would say that I believe education is a matter of teaching adaptability. The ability to adapt, or the capacity to change, is the fundamental skill of learning all things. We must always be prepared to adopt new ways of being. When we study life, we study the infinite; and when we study the infinite, our mindsets must be similar, or else we will not see everything that we could have seen. To realize that learning is the art of changing is to begin learning everything more easily. My primary goal is to help my students see and apply this awareness when studying anything they hope to do well. I have professional experience teaching many subjects, including arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, philosophy, biology, history, psychology, music, billiards, writing, research, literature, English, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, SQL, and more. Furthermore, I’m happy to offer insight into cognitive habits that often bring academic trouble, such as perfectionism, motivation, inattention, depression, and anxiety. I do not limit my educational strategies to any single methodology; I believe that every individual has a unique path in life, and I therefore work to be responsive to the specific, immediate needs of my students. Context is everything. If I'm trying to help a student become a better reader and writer, I may recommend that we explore good literature together; if I am helping someone prepare for a test in geometry, good practice problems and instructional resources will likely be part of the process. I tutor many subjects not listed here, so feel free to ask about anything! If I know how to help in a reasonable timeframe, I will help! 🙂 Note: I offer discounts to people who have financial need or pay in bulk. Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss options if my posted rate is beyond your budget!

Anthropology Major at University of Maryland With Extensive Experience Tutoring English and Essay Writing

I have been tutoring for the past 7 years, and am an avid reader, writer and learner. My focus is mainly on essay writing, with a secondary emphasis on English. With clients, I aim to shape the way they are able to structure and articulate their thoughts, as I believe anyone can write well and effectively if the right focus is developed and techniques used. I help students with things like mechanics, formatting, and structure. Whether a research paper, college admissions essay, or just a creative writing assignment, I have a proven record of success with students of all ages and learning styles. I view writing as a craft, and I tailor my teaching style based on this.
