MATLAB classes, fun, simple and clear explanations
NOTE: I have taught classes to students from universities in Spain, Denmark, and Norway, achieving satisfactory and passing results in the final exams. Hello! How are you doing? Are you struggling a bit with Matlab, or maybe a lot? No problem! Let's explore the things you would like to learn/understand about this very useful and powerful programming language (once you master it, of course) and clarify all your doubts so that you can see how to excel in it. And all this will be done in a dynamic, enjoyable, and straightforward way, using a language that everyone can understand. In just a few classes, you may not even require additional classes because I am confident that with my teaching method and your effort, this will be a piece of cake, and you may even teach your classmates MATLAB! And since you've read this far, I have to confess that I was initially a "beginner" in Matlab. In fact, I was struggling until someone made me understand that what I believed to be impossible was actually not me but my instructor failing to communicate. Does this experience sound familiar to you? In fact, things have changed a lot since then. I have taught Matlab classes at Aalborg University in Denmark, and my students gave me excellent reviews (as you can see from my ratings:). So what are you waiting for? Let's conquer that challenging guy named MATLAB!

Scott N.
New York University
1-to-1 Academic Business English Tutoring with CELTA Certified U.S. Native English Teacher(Currently Based in Thailand!!^^)
Hello!! My name is Scott Neumann and I'm currently living in Bangkok, Thailand! I'm from Washington, D.C., USA and I have been teaching English to students from around the world for almost 30 years! I’ve taught students of all ages one-to-one, in small group, and in traditional classroom settings in the U.S., Spain, South Korea, Japan, and Thailand. I began teaching English as foreign/second language when I was an exchange student at the Spanish University of Valencia in the early 1990's. I later taught English in the New York City public schools at the elementary and secondary levels. After finishing an MA in Photography and Mass Media Studies, I decided to live abroad and teach English in South Korea. For nearly twenty years I taught English at the primary, secondary, and tertiary(university)levels, as well as senior citizens, privately and in schools and universities. During this time, I was also able to teach and live in Fukuoka and Okinawa Japan, as well as in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand. All of these living/learning/teaching experiences have impressed upon me the importance of maintaining a dynamic yet comfortable learning environment. I firmly believe that as long as students are feeling relaxed, comfortable, and enjoying themselves, there will be no limit to what they can learn. Learning a language is so much more than simply learning another skill. It is a process of becoming a slightly different version of yourself, as you explore new worlds unlocked through your growing capacity to connect with people and cultures through use of another language. The world is vast and wondrous. Let me help you improve, not only your grasp of English, but also your capacity to express yourself, develop new ideas, understand other people, cultures, and points of view that may be very different from your own. Let's get after it together--the world's waiting to hear what you have to say!

University of Kansas
Expert calculus AB/BC tutor specializing in high school math
I’m A.J.! I am a chemical engineering graduate from University of Kansas. In addition, I have taken and excelled in college classes like calculus, organic chemistry, and fluid mechanics to name a few. In high school, I graduated with sigma cum Laude honors and had a 3.9 GPA on a 4.0 scale. I graduated in the top 10% of my class. Also, I scored 5’s on my AP calc AB, AP micro, and AP macro exams. I have had years of previous tutoring experience on tutor.com. On that platform I tutored mainly algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. My approach to tutoring is simple and easy. I must say, many students enjoy my approach because it makes the answer very apparent to them. My method is to break the problem down and solve parts of the problem. Then put these parts together like an easy four piece puzzle. I ask questions to check the understanding of the student so that I know where to start. This is because math often requires you to understand many small concepts in order to solve a problem. I have previously tutored students ranging in ages from late elementary to college. Most of my sessions have been one on one. With a mix of online and in-person depending on the student’s preferences. I always have enjoyed helping students and nothing compares to when a student has that ah ha moment. Lastly, I’m always open to suggestions or feedback from students or parents regarding my tutoring.

Turning “I Don’t Get It” Into “I’ve Got This!”
I am currently pursuing an MSc in Supply Chain Management at EMLV while living in Paris. I specialize in teaching English with a focus on IELTS preparation and academic writing. Because I am an international student myself, I understand the practical pressure of hitting a specific score or meeting a tight deadline. My approach is grounded in what actually works in a university environment, not just textbook theory. What we can work on: IELTS Prep: We will focus on the specific logic and structure required to hit Band 7+, particularly in the Speaking and Writing sections. Academic & Business Writing: I use my creative writing background to help you polish essays, business reports, and assignments so they sound professional and flow naturally. Conversational English: Building the confidence to speak clearly in academic or professional settings. I keep my lessons straightforward and focused on results. I don’t use "fluff" or academic jargon; I provide the direct feedback you need to fix your errors and improve your score quickly. If you need a tutor who understands the reality of studying and working in an international environment, let’s get to work.

Experienced Math, Test Prep (SAT, ACT, ASVAB, GED, GRE), and Writing Tutor
After securing my M.Ed. in Secondary Education in 2011 and working as a math teacher and a substitute teacher, I ventured onto a different career path in 2015 when my tutoring work unexpectedly became my full-time job. During my time as a self-employed tutor, I have accumulated close to 20,000 hours with well over 1000 students while maintaining a five-star rating. My areas of expertise are math, test prep, and writing. Math may seem like some mysterious subject that only a few can comprehend, but that’s just not the case. I can help students unlock the mystery of mathematics and get them on the road to comprehension. In my time as a tutor and a teacher, I have instructed students at all stages of life and mathematical development—from third graders to adults in their 60's, from elementary math to college-level calculus. Test preparation is where most of my tutoring hours come from, as the years of prepping for tests can stretch well into a person’s adult years. Improving one's score not only means being familiar with the subject material, but also requires the right pacing, problem-solving strategies, and test-taking skills. In over a decade as a professional tutor, I have helped more than 800 students prepare for the SAT, ACT, ASVAB, GED, and GRE. Writing is another area where I can provide assistance. For students working on their college essays, I can offer guidance on selecting a prompt, constructing a response, and editing the final draft. If you’re writing a paper, I can walk you through the entire process, from brainstorming to constructing a thesis to finding and citing references to editing. I’ll help you understand the rules of grammar, punctuation, and format, and I'm familiar with the MLA, APA, and Chicago schools of style.
