Outside of class, I volunteer at a clinic that provides free healthcare, provide college counseling to high school seniors, and participate in a few campus organizations. In terms of tutoring, I have experience in tutoring English, math, and science subjects. I also self-studied for the SAT and performed quite well on the exam so I able to help in that area as well. My goal is to help my students feel more confident academically and provide them with a level of help that suits their needs. I started volunteer tutoring in late high school and mentored middle school to elementary school students in succeeding with comprehension and understanding of beginner math courses such as algebra and pre-algebra. After I matriculated to Northeastern University, I began scheduling both private tutoring sessions between myself and my students & through the school's tutoring system. Upon starting my first co-op at the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority), I simultaneously took on a teaching assistantship for graduate students in the D'Amore McKim School of Business for a graduate statistics course, and in the following semester, went on to be the go-to Teaching assistant for all sections of the undergraduate business statistics course.
